All photos were taken through the detail-dulling non-glare glass that was popular in the sixties and seventies. I see a listing for a Frank Lockwood as photographer but no convincing listing for a painter by that name.

A rare etching of one of New York area's bridges, depicted in an interesting phase of its construction, pencil signed by American etcher artist RALPH PEARSON (1883-1958). The work measures 10 3/4" by 15 1/4" inside the mat and 17 1/2" by 21" as framed. The artist titled it at lower left "#69 Hell Gate Bridge" and inscribed it in pencil at lower margin "To Harold Swartz--Artist".
