Robert Brackman (Born Odessa, Russia 1898; Died Roank, CT 1980). “Still Life on White”. Oil on Canvas. Signed Lower Right and on Rear (with title). Dimensions; site 19.5"wide x 15.5"high, with gilt frame 27"wide x 22"high. Brackman studied at the National Academy of Design and was a long time teacher at the Art Students League of NY and elsewhere. His paintings are in many Museum Collections.

The very American style of painting on ivory miniature measures 42mm x 35mm, and is mounted in its original gold frame.
