A Fine Watercolor by the Well Regarded California, Hawaii (& WPA) Artist, Robert Lee Eskridge (1891-1975). Measures 22 1/2" by 15". Painted on thick Arches paper. This watercolor is signed and titled on front as shown and on the back is written 'Cave-in near Virginia City'.
From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, an early Tomasz Rut original oil on canvas masterpiece titled "Celesta," widely regarded as one of his top paintings of all time.
We were fortunate to meet Tomasz in the early 1990's when he was nary as famous as he is now, and were doubly fortunate to subsequently acquire two of his early original works, both of which are now considered to be two of the best he has ever created...

Stated "One of twenty" prints by illustrator and children's book publisher. Helena Chase Johnson. The print is also marked "For Norman" along with her signature. An interesting note -- Chase owned The Little Hotel by the Sea (located at the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, Calif.) The hotel boasted of having a beautiful six-passenger mahogany elevator, making it "The Littlest Hotel in the World with an Elevator."

Ovesized Japanese limited edition copperplate etching titled “Makinohama Beach” by Tanaka Ryohei (1933-1919). Pencil-signed, dated 2006, and numbered 19/100 in the lower margin. Paper size: 24 1/4" x 13" (image: 20 1/8" x 9"). This etching was never framed and is in excellent condition.
