A print I first thought could be Pennsylvania Dutch imagery, but which now appears to be of some European origin, perhaps the Appenzell area of Switzerland, or elsewhere in Europe. A Google search reveals that the imagery is actually used on the cover of a Spanish reader book, so perhaps this is a Spanish origin. Measurements are 17" by 13 1/2" framed. Circa 1960's drip painting on paper, 22 1/2" by 18", unsigned, mounted to a thin board. This is not a Jackson Pollock or Sam Francis, but it is a work of art and it has age. The thin paper is glued down at least at the edges and possibly in the center as well.
