Work is oil on canvas measuring 17 x 21“, in a baroque frame measuring 22 x 27“

Crayon drawing on paper of village rooftops in a European mountain setting, 8 3/4" by 11 3/8" inside the mat, 14 1/2" by 17" in simple strip frame (not pictured), unsigned. The artist was talented but unfortunately remains anonymous. There are a few scribbles on the reverse side of the paper (see last image). The work dates to the first half of the twentieth century. It is in good condition, consistent with its age; some paper toning and very slight ripple.

Watercolor painting titled on the mat in ink "Rockport Bay", the subject small craft in a sheltered small harbor framed by distant hills. The artist signed the drawing at lower left "Norma Page Aug. '45" and again signed, this time on the mat, at lower right. There is another word after "Page" that appears as "Douyes" or "Damyes" or similar, but I am unable to locate a listed artist by any of these names...

PAIR of etchings of dogs, one a Fox Terrier, the other a Scottish Terrier, each signed at lower right in pencil by the renowned twentieth century German dog and cat and other animal artist, KURT MEYER-EBERHARDT (1895-1977). The artist was born in Leipzig and died in Munich. In the late 1920's he was studying with Thedor Hagen and Lyonel Feininger, and could have ascended to the highest levels of the art world. Oil on canvas laid on board painting of the Grand Canyon, 17" by 21" (20" by 24" as framed), apparently unsigned, circa 1940's, possibly earlier, executed in a naive manner that borders on or crosses the line to folk art. I think the technique is intentionally naive and primitive, as opposed to just the less-refined work of an amateur artist. The frame (see close-up) adds to the folk art aspects. This is a fine addition to your Southwest or Southwest folk art collection.

Pencil on paper drawing of a young man, in true 1930's American Scene style. The work measures 12 1/4" by 9 1/2" inside the present mat, the full sheet extending under the mat (some of the drawing is hidden by present mat) 14 1/2" by 11 3/8". The work is unsigned. I would imagine that the artist would be someone listed, judging from the quality and sensitivity of the portrait.
