An oil on canvas in a naive style of a line of deer walking along a gentle hill toward the top of a larger hill with the sunset and distant view of the other side of the valley. The painting was found in Shenandoah Valley though no record of, “A. Taylor” has been found. The tone of the painting is warm. While there are no give away clues as to the age between the late 19th or the early 20th century, it has a feel of being in the earlier part of that range rather than the later...

Finely painted oil on canvas still life of beautiful red apples spilling from a basket, 10" by 12", 15 3/4" by 17 3/4" framed, signed lower right by the noted American painter, ELBRIDGE AYER BURBANK (1858-1949). The work is in the tradition of many others who painted fruit, from the Fall River School of Massachusetts, through such artists as William McCloskey, Edward Chalmers Leavitt, and Levi Wells Prentice...

This work needs some TLC, due to a large rip, unstable and missing paint, and grime......a vintage late 19th century/early 20th century work on canvas, 18" by 30", unframed, apparently unsigned, the subject one of the volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest. The painting should be saved for posterity, but for that to happen, it will require relining, cleaning and inpainting by a professional restorer. If you are a restorer yourself, this would be an ideal acquisition.

Oil on canvas, 16" by 20", unframed, the subject a cut watermelon, peaches, grapes, a pear and strawberries, signed at lower right "Mabel Lemos" and dated there 1948. This appears to me to be a work by the noted long-time citizen of Santa Cruz, MABEL LEMOS, the wife of painter William Lemos and mother of artist Sydney Lemos...

A rare etching of one of New York area's bridges, depicted in an interesting phase of its construction, pencil signed by American etcher artist RALPH PEARSON (1883-1958). The work measures 10 3/4" by 15 1/4" inside the mat and 17 1/2" by 21" as framed. The artist titled it at lower left "#69 Hell Gate Bridge" and inscribed it in pencil at lower margin "To Harold Swartz--Artist". (Harold Swartz appears to refer to the Los Angeles/New Mexico sculptor, born 1887, died 1948)...

The painting itself measures 15X20 inches. Very nice condition, recently cleaned and varnished. Very minor craquelure in the paint, unobtrusive. Everything is quite stable and very presentable. This painting came to us in a hand carved Gold Frame...

An old "cabin art" oil on soft paper board primitive style painting of Northern California's famed Mt. Shasta, towering over a rugged landscape including waterfall, tall trees, steep gorge, and a charming log house at left with smoke coming from the chimney. The painting measures 24 1/2" by 19 1/2", unframed. The board is warped, the surface uneven, and there is a snaking 8" crack in the board at right and small puncture at lower center. The work is delicate and requires very careful handling...

A beautiful framed Western Scene of American circa 1900-1920 oil on board framed

The Marble Sculpture measures 18" tall x 9" at the base. This appears to be a Sculpture by Constantin Brancusi.(1876-1957). This Sculpture was purchased from an Estate in Highland Park in Dallas, Texas. It was used as a decoration for a private pool at that particular Estate. This Abstract Sculpture is not signed.
