Drawing, I believe in charcoal, 12 3/4" by 18 1/2" inside the matting, framed, but no glass, signed at lower left "M. Moss" and dated "March '93", the subject a large wooden house on a lake surrounded by mountains, small boats tied up in front. I think this is American but I suppose it could also be English; I'm undecided..........though, the framing suggests would make me lean towards American, as the reverse was backed by the typically American wood slats with knotholes...

A beautiful pencil drawing of human hands, likely 19th century, measuring 4 1/2" by 5 1/2" inside the ornate French mat, 10 1/4" by 11 1/4" as framed in gilt closed corner framing. There is a little wear in the corners of the frame but the overall look with mat and frame is upscale...

George". There is no artist signature. This is an exceptionally early work and it would be interesting to know the identity of the artist...

Born in Germany in 1857 in the town of Harthau, he moved to America and painted in New England and traveled to paint in Europe where this scene was done in Katwijk, which also happens to be the town where he died in 1929. The work depicts the sailing ships of the 19th century in pastel on sanded paper measuring 17x26 inches in a whine period frame

A Japanese woodblock three-part print showing a festival by a river or lake with boats, people in the water, a review stand (?) and numerous people, some with banners. The signature is for Hiroshige III and the censor’s seals for 1855. The paper is laid. Each sheet is approx. 14 5/8 x 9 7/8 inches (35.5 x 25 cm).

Condition: good with one crease to the lower left corner of the middle sheet and bends from being corner mounted with photo corners. Otherwise clean and crisp. Good bleed through...

It depicts a marriage ceremony between the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, with a richly attired high priest clasping the hands of Mary and Joseph. Joseph is depicted as placing the ring of betrothal on the finger of Our Lady. The icon comes with an elaborately hand-carved gilt wood Baroque style frame.
