Original Japanese woodblock print by 20th century master Jun'Ichiro Sekino (1914-1988) circa 1950s. Unusual column format (roughly 28" by 10" paper, 21" by 5" image), extremely unusual subject, signed "J. Sekino" in pencil lower right and numbered 67/100 lower left. In its original frame, not examined out of the frame but apparently in excellent condition. Sekino's woodblocks are found in the collections of most important art museums, including MOMA and the Art Institute of Chicago.

An intriguing Bronze by the Italian sculpture Tommaso Campajola interestingly titled measuring 16 inch height and 12 inch diameter base which is black sculpted marble. Born in Naples Italy in 1855, there is not much on the artist but he worked in his lifetime in Europe on several commissions. This work was done after a barmaid that was known all of Naples for her loving care to customers at the Gambrinus Cafe. This work dates to about 1880 and is signed

Clark", the subject given on the framing label as "On the Arun--Sussex". This is a painting by SAMUEL JOSEPH CLARK (1841-1928), a noted 19th century painter of rural landscapes and genre. Sometimes he is listed as Samuel JAMES Clark--there appears to be some confusion in the auction record...

A large poster, 38" by 28" inside the mat window and 49 1/2" by 39" in silvery, attractive, quality frame, signed discretely at upper left center by listed Italian artist MARIO BORGONI (1869-1950). Printed by Richter & Co. of Napoli, the subject is a handsome young man, sword in hand, partially draped in the green, white and red of the Italian flag. The poster, "Prestito Nazionale", was created to drum up patriotic feeling to help fund, through bonds, the war activities in 1916...

A contemporary painting in Old Master style, the subject a Dutch street scene with no less than eight figures, a church in the center background. The unframed 24" by 20" oil on canvas is signed at lower right corner "W. Caufield" (or "Canfield"). Note the attention to detail in the cobblestones and stone buildings (which are snow-dusted).
