NOT A PRINT, this is an original, hand-drawn sepia ink and watercolor on paper drawing, titled at lower center "Plumeria Tricolor". Further writing in a quaint nineteenth century hand reads "A tree 30 ft. high" and "Pint. Mono. (Montego Bay??) Jamaica x gardens of Peru x N.O. Apocyness"...
From the 1964 Derriere Le Miroir #149, one of five original lithographs that appeared in that issue, with original center crease and reverse text in English and French, "Red Yellow Blue", by the famous Color Field and Hard-Edge modern artist ELLSWORTH KELLY (1923-2015). This print published in November 1964 by Maeght Editeur is in superb original condition, the colors rich and not light-struck. Measurements are 15" by 21 1/2" (21" by 28" in its present silver metal framing)...
