Jean Baptiste Camille Corot 1796-1875 French This is a fine rich impression of the well known Corot etching Souvenir of Italy, this was first created in 1863, and printed in three states, including later ones with the publishers information at the bottom edge of the sheet. This one does not have that so may be an earlier or possibly later impression. The image measures 12 9/16X9 3/8 inches, printed on an antique laid type paper. Very fine condition, matted not framed...

A PAIR of very desirable prints in unusually fine condition, (not examined out of frame, but appearance as presented is superb), pencil signed at lower right near the red artist seal, by the important French-Japanese printmaker artist PAUL JACOULET (1902-1960). The condition is excellent, with no issues whatsoever. The reverse of the case is lacking the surround and glazing to the aperture.

Note: Gillespie was active on the East Coast of North America, Baltimore, New York, and Philadelphia around the 1829-1838 time period...

An incredibly charming portrait miniature brooch of a young child, painted on natural material. The subject is beautiful, wearing a coral necklace and a pale lavender gown, and with brown eyes that were so finely and realistically painted with such depth that it is almost hard to believe when seeing this gem in person.

The condition is excellent, with no issues, and the overall size is 1 3/8" by 1".

From our African Collection: This "Ikenga" Southeast Nigerian Shrine Figure is from the Early to mid 20th century. A characteristic of all Ikenga Shrine Figures are their exaggerated bull horns. The basic form of an ikenga is a human figure with horns symbolizing power, sometimes reduced to only a head with horns on a base.
