If the Master could do a Seat series in the 1960s he must have decided to do a Sink series in 1972. First, it did a small image in 1972 and then he ended the year with a larger image depicting the same sink theme. It is the one pictured here, Poem 72-61 Sink-S. It measures 9.75sq in.

No doubt a tourist art piece, it is quite charming, reminding of Haitian and other Caribbean folk art. Condition is excellent.

This fine sculpture is by the diverse and talented Ernesto Montenegro. Titled "Crosswalk," it displays pedestrians walking across the street. A nicely worked painting of a lovely flamenca dancer in Spain, circa 1950's, 20 1/4" by 16 1/2" plus narrow frame, signed at lower right by listed artist CESAR VILOT. Vilot was active at mid century, and is known for his alluring paintings of females both nude and dressed, some painted in the style of Jean Gabriel Domergue. A beautiful multi-plate color etching by master printmaker LUIGI KASIMIR (1881-1962), dated lower right 1922, and pencil signed there in the margin by the artist.
