A highly decorative original pochoir print of flowers in a vase, within a blue circle, singed in the print by the noted French artist and fashion illustrator GEORGES LEPAPE (1887-1971). The print measures 15 1/4" by 12" inside the double mat, and 25 3/4" by 21 3/4" as framed. Lepape was born in Paris. He was educated at the Ecole des Beaux Arts 1908-1910. Wonderful designs, excellent clean prints. Framed and glazed, not examined outside of frame. Average print size 65 x 43 mm (2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches), frame size 12 x 14 inches.

This is a skillfully executed painting on canvas, 9 1/2" by 13" (14 1/2" by 18" in its distressed style white/gold frame), the subject several large ripening pears and apples, a pair of plums in the foreground. At lower left is written "A Mr. Caubert/Souvenir Amical/H. Camus". I believe that's what the names appear to be; more research might reveal the full identity of the artist. To date I cannot match this to a listed name...

An old (circa 1900, perhaps earlier) oil on canvas laid on a Masonite panel, 19 1/2" by 15 1/2" (24 1/2" by 20 1/2" framed), signed at center left with conjoined initials "AF" (or, possibly, AT). The work features an older man wearing gold-rimmed spectacles, his white moustache and beard adding considerable character to this individual, who looks like a professor or other man of wisdom, accomplishment, and achievement. To date, an effort to tie the work to a listed artist has been unsuccessful...
