Pastel and gouache mixed media work on red paper, measuring 18 1/4" by 13 1/2" plus thin old black wood frame, signed at lower right with what appears to be "Macero Arbuckle" and dated '04 (1904). I don't see any information on the artist. This is an interesting illustration work that is quite subtle, and being subtle, doesn't lend itself to being photographed easily. Condition is excellent. There is an old sticker on glass at lower left corner with "13" written on it.

There is an old 1920's or 1930's Belfast label on the reverse wood from William Rodman and Company, 41 Donegall Place BELFAST. A very appealing small forest interior painting on board, 9" by 11" (12" by 14" in modern day gold framing), unsigned on front but on reverse in old hand is written (difficult to decipher) "near XXX farm Hampstead Heath/Oct. 3 1908 5 PM/P. P. (XXXX)". The word after P.P. is the last name of the artist but it has defied my efforts to make it out. The scene is painted in luminous tan colors with light grayish green and cream here and there, all in a very impressionistic blond to silvery light...

Anne Lane studied art at George Mason University in Virginia, completed her education at Saint Patrick’s college, Ireland, where she studied theology and philosophy. The tonal and contemplated intensity of her paintings reflect her 10 years spent working as an artist under the desert sun of New Mexico. Her vibrant style, resonant with color and baroque in detail, swoons its delight over her canvases...

Oil on board painting of waves at a rocky coastline, unframed, 15 3/4" by 20", likely by a listed artist but unsigned. The work was executed sometime around 1950 I would surmise. Condition is good and this should fit nicely into an easy-to-find standard size 16" by 20" frame.

Antique watercolor painting, beautifully executed, the image featuring a wrapped ceramic vessel, old leather-bound books, and a pair of red ornate slippers, the work signed at lower right in pencil "Emily J. Hare 1892". The painting, paper laid on a thin board, measures 10 1/2" by 14 1/2" and 14" by 18" framed. Despite the obvious skill of the artist, the only online references I see to this name are to a woman born circa 1871 in Maine to English and Canadian parentage...

This is a mixed media work on paper, 9 1/4" by 12" plus 2 1/2 inches on a side of linen mat and inexpensive old frame, signed at lower right by the artist "J-Cl Imbert". It's a difficult to photograph work since it's rather dark and since I need to take the time to remove it from the frame to reduce the unusually troublesome reflections in the glass. The scene is an area of train tracks adjacent to an industrial area, with distant structures on a small hill at above right, and a few figures at...
