A poster issued in 1968 by the Galerie Bradtke of Luxembourg, to celebrate an exhibition of the works of Spanish modern artist LUIS MOLNE (1907-1970). The poster is issued with a patronage by the Prince of Monaco, Prince Rainier, husband of Grace Kelly. The image features a young girl, the predominant colors blues and brown. I would think this a serigraph rather than lithograph. Condition appears to be excellent (not examined out of frame)...

Oil on canvas laid on board 9 3/4" by 8", unframed, the subject a red-haired child, signed at lower right by the noted children's art illustrator at mid century, MAUD TOUSEY FANGEL (1881-1968). The work is slightly reminiscent of the impressionism of Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Fangel was a much-in-demand illustrator for east coast-based magazines such as Ladies Home Journal. This is a pair of engravings from Peterson's Magazine, 1877 and 1882, both nicely hand colored. Size as framed 18" by 20". The prints, titled "Les Modes Parisiennes" are very clean inside the mats. There are vertical central creases as no doubt issued. These would make for a pleasing addition to a bedroom or lady's feminine dressing area. Allow for reflections in some images.
