This is a fine pastel of a pair of dogs---Labradors possibly---(I welcome input from dog lovers)--one named at bottom "Lozi", the other, "Pamuzi", the drawing signed at lower left with what appears as "Janaa Olsen" or "Janaa Owen" or similar, and dated there 1988. It appears to be a portrait commissioned by an owner who was obviously very attached to these particular canines, who appear at this time to have been in the prime of their lives...
An original watercolor painting of the Arc du Carrousel in central Paris, 12" by 15 1/2" (18 1/4" by 21 1/2" framed), signed illegibly at lower right, (possibly, "F Lacoste"), circa late 20th century. The Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is a triumphal arch in Paris, located in the Place du Carrousel. The ornate, impressive structure was built between 1806 and 1808 to commemorate Napoleon's military victories of the previous year...

A colorful lithograph by the famous Spanish artist JOAN MIRO (1893-1983), pencil numbered at lower left 77/375 in European-looking writing with horizontal cross of the "7"s. On the backing is an old label of Jamin Editions of Van Nuys, California, who may have issued this print. Dimensions inside the mat are 25 1/2" by 19 1/2" (32 1/2" by 26 3/4" in brushed aluminum metal frame). The image was created for the 1970 Sala Pelaires exhibition, Palma de Mallorca...
Richly impressionistic painting on canvas of a small pond surrounded by autumn foliage, 9" by 12" (16" by 19" framed), signed at lower right by contemporary California-based artist RON McKEE (1931-) and dedicated on the stretcher and dated there 1987. McKee is a popular impressionist, his body of work including landscape, coastals, floral gardens and European Mediterranean ports. This work is fresh and clean and absolutely wall-ready in its gold framing...
A watercolor of a lighthouse on the Maine coast, 9" by 13" (15" by 19" in wood frame), signed at lower right by artist Donna Sabaka (1946-). On the reverse is written "The Nubble Light"/York/Cape Neddick, Me.". The artist signed again there and wrote "Kennebunkport, Me. 1986". The lighthouse is in the extreme southern portion of Maine, in the heavily visited coastal strip of that state---a large tourist draw in summer...
Beautiful oil of the Tripple Crown Race Winner Secretariat, dated 1992.
Three oil still life works on canvas by the same hand, each signed "G. Gillson", circa late 20th century, all painted in an earlier style. Measurements are 12" by 16" and 9" by 12", and frames 1 3/4" wide on a side. I do not see a listing for an artist by this name. These are nicely painted and will complement your traditional interior. The dark, wood frames have some scratches and you might want to replace them with gold, which would dramatically improve the overall presentation...
Classic watercolor work by Florida's well-listed impressionist artist, EMMETT FRITZ (1917-1995), the 6 3/4" by 9 1/2" work (14" by 16 3/4" framed) a view down one of the streets in the historic downtown area of St. Augustine on Florida's northeast coast. The piece is in fresh, clean condition with no issues. The pink, blue and green colors in this particular example are very nice. Written on the backing is "Saint Augustine 1982/Went with Evelyn Stuart, Dolly Balker"...

Watercolor on paper, 20 1/2" by 27 1/4" inside the mat (26 1/2" by 32 1/2" as framed), signed at lower right "Roy E. Swanson", dated there "84" This watercolor is by a skilled hand (see other works by him in my shop), though I cannot seem to find a listing for the artist. There is a listing for a RAY Swanson (Cowboy Artists of America), but this is not that artist. Regardless, the work is excellent, reminding one of the California Scene school of watercolor, with the likes of Milford Zornes, Ja...
Watercolor on paper painting of a boat in a harbor, 13" by 21" inside the mat, 20" by 28" as framed, signed at lower right and bearing the artist's name and Fremont, California address on the reverse. The artist is SALLY INOUYE (1927-2010). I do not see a standard "listing", but came up with the following information from google, taken from her obituary online: "Sally Misaye Inouye July 31, 1927 - June 18, 2010 Sally Misaye Inouye, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Kaiser...

An oil on canvas, 12" by 16" and 16 1/2" by 20" in dark stained wood frame, featuring a number of women in a colorful tropical village, carrying baskets of tropical fruits (possibly papayas). The artist signed at bottom right "Paul". The work probably dates to the 1970's or 1980's. A colorful addition to any room. Very slight wear on frame and tiny white area in sky is a spot of disturbed paint.
