Our sample was edited in March 1504 and printed by Johann Schott, a student of Gregor Reisch.
The sheet is from Chapter VI, which deals with geometric solids and their properties.

Nicely executed by a talented hand. Note the four pointed "Christmas star" at upper right. At lower left corner there is a diagonal crack in the paper, not a significant issue.

I say "appears" because there is a Windsor Art Products label on the reverse, suggesting this would be a print or multiple of some type. Oil or acrylic on canvas, unframed, 10" by 14", unsigned, the work painted in a harmonious and quite modern mix of varying shades of purples and greens, topped with white drips, the result a pleasing work that would look great in a contemporary or mid century setting. Found in New Hampshire, this is an antique unsigned watercolor of a rocky coastline, sailing boats on the horizon. Measuring 13 1/2" by 19 1/2", the work on paper is glued down to an 1893 Salem, Massachusetts legal directory, the edges of which are crumbling. Those edges should probably be trimmed, and the watercolor then framed to preserve it for another century. Though simple and monochromatic, this is a work well worth preserving. One corner is brittle.

Probably executed circa the 1960's, possibly, in the Baltic states (possibly, Latvian) or another part of eastern Europe.
