Antique original lithograph of a standing nude by Julius John Pommer (American, 1895-1945). This wonderful nude dates from the thirties. It is dedicated l.l. and pencil signed l.r. Offered framed. Pommer was born in San Francisco and studied at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield. He was active in the Federal Arts Project in the thirties. Well listed (cf. Askart, Edan Hughes "Artists in California", etc.

Walter Tittle 1883-1966 American This is a fine original drypoint etching by American artist Walter Tittle. The title is: Church of the Heavenly Rest, which was built in New York City in 1929. This etching is hand signed in ink and measures 12X10 inches, nicely framed with archival materials. A very rich impression, Tittle at his very best...

The scene could be Pennsylvania or Texas, as the artist is associated with both states. Born in Pittsburgh at the end of the Civil War, he studied art at the Pittsburgh School of Art and for a time under well-known Pennsylvania artist A. F. King...

A fine print from New Orleans by the noted Louisiana-associated artist LOUIS OSCAR GRIFFITH (1875-1956), featuring a milk cart drawn by a horse, making its deliveries in the French Quarter. Measuring 12 1/2" by 10 1/4" inside the existing mat (19 1/2" by 15 1/4" as framed), the piece is pencil signed by the artist at lower right and numbered at lower left "No. 21" (of an apparent edition of 100). Colors are rich and this is an excellent impression...

A pleasant pastel on paper drawing of pink roses, signed at lower right by artist Lora King and dated there '39. On the reverse backing paper the name "Lora King Arnold" is written, and again "Lora Arnold" and original $100.00 price appears. There seems to be minimal information available on the artist (online I did see a 1923-1960 lifespan that may or may not be accurate). The work measures 11 1/4" by 15" (17 1/2" by 21 1/2" in original framing)...

Oil on canvas, 27" by 30" (33" by 36" as framed), the subject the roiling waves, a headland visible in the distance, signed at lower right and, I think, dated there "40", by well listed American artist and illustrator FREDERIC TELLANDER (1878-1977). This is a good-sized work, offered most definitely in as-is condition...

A Fine Painting by the Listed Riverside, California Artist, Myrna Elwell (1902-?). The Painting measures about 18" by 18" in its frame of about 24 1/2" by 24 1/2". Signed lower right as shown. A little dirty and some wear to frame, overall quite nice.

**PAIR** of pastel and pencil drawings on paper affixed to board at edges, each 9 3/4" by 13 1/2" inside the mat, currently in simple contemporary inexpensive frames, one signed in pencil at lower right "GROLL". These appear to be possibly scenes of Mexico or even Spain (the artist studied in Europe) by listed American artist ALBERT LOREY GROLL (1866-1952)...

Gottlob Briem 1899-1972 American This is a fine original etching and aquatint by American artist Gottlob L. Briem. This rare image is titled Empire State Building, N.Y.C. It was created and printed circa 1930. It is pencil signed and inscribed "to Elmerine (Finn) a Vermont artist with best wishes". The image measures 14X9 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

Samuel Chamberlain, American, 1895-1975, drypoint etching, "The Verdant Village", image size: 6 1/2 x 11 inches. 1931, edition 75/100, cat. Chamberlain and Kingsland-107, pencil signed, numbered and titled. This scene of Bellefontain, Ile-de-France, exhibits Chamberlain's ability to create subtle gradation in plate tone.

Beautiful impressionist pastel drawing of a landscape in California's high desert outside Los Angeles, 12 1/2" by 19", 19 1/2 by 26 1/2" in attractive old gold strip framing (but with no glass), and signed "R W" and dated 1940 at lower right corner. The artist was surely a talent but I am unable to connect the initials to a known artist...
