This is a lithograph of a partially nude, seated young woman, 20" by 17 1/4" (30" by 27 1/2" as framed), signed in pencil at lower right and numbered 244/300 at lower left, by the noted 20th century American artist RAPHAEL SOYER (1899-1987). Soyer, one of several brothers (the others being Isaac and Moses) who became significant figures in American art during the WPA and mid century period, became known for his sensitive studies of human figures in urban settings and interiors...

A small unframed oil on Masonite painting, 8" by 10", signed at lower left indecipherably, the work a fantasy landscape painted very much in the style of acclaimed California artist Eyvind Earle (1916-2000). The neon green sunlit strip, the surreal shadows cast by rocks there, the bare tree, the hillside, all are reminiscent of Earle's work. A silvery frame might work on this. Surface is a bit dusty, and heavily varnished. There are some very light drips of something at right center.

Poster of 1986, "EGE ART LINE TOUR", 27 1/2" by 19 3/4", unframed, hand signed in somewhat faded marker by the noted Danish modern artist, PER ARNOLDI (1941-). This offset poster is not in great condition, having been tightly rolled for a long time, and it is dusty and has some digs in the paper, and edge damage as shown (what appears as diagonal scratch at upper right is light reflecting in scratch on the Plexi)...

Gouache on paper drawing of a Baltimore Oriole and a blue jay, 12 1/2" by 16" (23 3/4" by 28" framed), signed at lower right by the noted Disney illustrator AUGUST CURLEY LENOX (1908-1986). This is a really nicely executed work, in the style of an illustrator like Lynn Bogue Hunt or William Schaldach or Rex Brasher. Colors are vivid and the realism is such that the viewer can almost "hear" these birds. I suppose it could have been executed as a book or magazine illustration...

Nicolas Mignard, French, 1606-1668, "Odysseus and Hermes Before Circe". Etching by Nicolas Mignard after the frescoes of Annibale Carracci depicting scenes from Homer's Odyssey. Plate size 10 1/4 x 17 3/4, published by Pierre Mariette in 1637, with lettering in Latin below the image. Printed on a very early watermarked laid type paper.

Watercolor/gouache on board painting, 19 1/4" by 12 3/4", the subject the interior of a Jewish place of worship, signed at lower left by the well listed Jewish artist MAX BAND (1900-1974). Band was born in Lithuania and spent much of his earlier life in Paris, after study at the Berlin Academy. His works often feature Judaic themes, though subject matter can range from florals to European urban vistas to genre and portraits...

ANTONIO SIGNED INK SKETCH STUDY FROM A HAITIAN ARTIST MEASURING 16” x 12” HIRSH

For the collector of rare, and desirable early Florida art: a watercolor painting titled in pencil lower left "Old Spanish House/St. Augustine", dated 1881, apparently not signed. The work, paper laid on a board, measures 9 3/4" by 13 3/4". An early 20th century 13 1/2" by 17 1/2" frame (not shown) accompanies the watercolor. On the reverse side of the board in modern times someone wrote "Attributed to William Turner Dannat" but this is highly unlikely...

Masterwork by American Artist Anne Lane-Seven Figures 56x56”, artwork measuring 48x48 inches, beautifully framed…... Anne Lane studied art at George mason University in Virginia, completed her education at Saint Patrick’s college, Ireland, where she studied theology and philosophy. The tonal and contemplated intensity of her paintings reflect her 10 years spent working as an artist under the desert sun of New Mexico...

Watercolor painting of an old colonial church building, likely in Mexico, signed at lower left "F. BERGMANN". The piece, 14 3/4" by 19" (24" by 28 1/2" framed) was painted in the 1960's or 1970's. It is in excellent condition. The artist FRANZ BERGMANN (1898-1977, some show 1970 as death date) was born in Austria. After service World War I, he attended the Vienna Academy of Art...
