Oil on canvas painting of a desert southwestern landscape complete with saguaro cactus, unframed, 16" by 20", signed at lower right "Robert Perkins". I do not see a listing by this name so offer the painting on its decorative values. It is in fair condition, with soiling, stretcher bar show-through/uneven canvas, and two very small punctures at sky on right in a cloud at a few inches above the signature. If you like the painting you could hang it as-is, or you could invest money to fix it up.

Oscar Florianes Bluemner (1867-1938), . The painting is 7 x 10 inches. The medium is watercolor and pencil. Provenance: The Estate of Oscar Bluemner's widow, sold to Virginia collector and then to a collector in New Jersey. Art & Antique Gallery, Inc., Worcester, MA. It may have been a preliminary painting for a larger painting titled: "Play of Barns-Red" exhibited at the Owen Gallery in 2001. (size 28 x 30 inches). I spoke with Mr. Owen about this painting to get details...

I do not see a signature or date, though I believe the paper is likely from the 20th century. The drawing has not been properly framed (no mat) so there has been some contact with the glass...

William Corasick, b. 1907, studied at Temple University and at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Philadelphia Art Alliance, and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, National Academy of Design, and the Butler Art Institute. This unique and exciting abstract is painted on paper and clear film. In very good original condition and professionally framed. Image measurements are app. 20" x 20".

A small oil on canvas board painting of Lake Como, Italy, signed at lower right by California listed artist LUCY SCHNABEL (1844-1938). The work measures 10" by 14" and is unframed. The view is of famously scenic Lake Como in northern Italy, with snow capped peaks in the distance. A few figures are present in the foreground, and the architecture along the lake shore fills the middle. The artist was born in Wisconsin and was in San Francisco by about 1860...

Benjamin Osro Eggleston 1867-1937 American This is an original oil on canvas painting of Old Lyme Connecticut, the river bridge. This painting is signed lower left corner. The canvas measures 10X14 inches. Housed in a period gilt frame. Born in Minnesota, He moved to Brooklyn and summered in Old Lyme CT.

Apparently unsigned watercolor on heavy paper painting of an arid landscape in the American Southwest, including a distant mountain, barbed wire fencing at a dirt crossroads, and fading evening clouds, 14" by 17 1/2" as framed in a faux burl frame. When I first saw the image I was reminded of some of the watercolor art of Peter Hurd---the memorable scenes he painted of New Mexico. There is no evidence that he painted this one, but perhaps the artist was inspired by Hurd's imagery...

Oil on very thin canvas, 11 1/2" by 17 1/2" (17" by 23" in vintage frame), the subject given as "Smoke Tree" in pencil on reverse paper, signed at lower left corner "Haydock". This is apparently a work of an MARGUERITE HAYDOCK, listed in Hughes' Dictionary of California Artists (where the artist is described as "active in Yosemite in 1931"...

Antique watercolor painting, beautifully executed, the image featuring a wrapped ceramic vessel, old leather-bound books, and a pair of red ornate slippers, the work signed at lower right in pencil "Emily J. Hare 1892". The painting, paper laid on a thin board, measures 10 1/2" by 14 1/2" and 14" by 18" framed. Despite the obvious skill of the artist, the only online references I see to this name are to a woman born circa 1871 in Maine to English and Canadian parentage...

This is a beautifully executed work, watercolor and gouache on paper, 14 1/2" by 20 1/2" (21" by 27" as framed), signed at lower right by the noted English artist WILFRED KNOX (1884-1966). Knox is known for his marine art, such as clipper ships, but also for scenes around the British Isles and the luminous Venetian and Mediterranean coastal scenes with shipping and maritime subject matter as seen in this example...

Drypoint etching print "Chattes" (Cats) published in Paris in the year 1909 by Gustave Pellet, 8 3/4" by 12 1/4" inside the inner fillet, 17 3/4" by 21 3/4" as nicely framed, numbered in pencil 38/50 (and faint red cypher stamp) at lower right margin, and pencil signed by the artist at lower center right margin. There is a crease in each lower corner that I believe likely dates to the time of printing, and there are a few foxing spots, but the overall appearance is excellent...
