Fischer", this is an unframed, sizable oil on canvas (46" by 27"), the scene almost mural-like: an apparently Italian lake (see the gondolier at right), framed by blooming wisteria dripping off a trellis at top and climbing a lattice at bottom, several boats plying the calm lake waters. Complete portfolio of etchings and drypoints by Sigmund Abeles (USA, born 1934). 1969. This is a collection of works produced mostly in 1966 and issued as a portfolio in an edition of 65 plus 10 artist's proofs in 1969 by Aquarius Press. All 13 works signed by the artist. Abeles is an important 20th and 21st century American artist.

A very skillfully drawn pastel on paper rendering of the famous and iconic Taos Pueblo in northern New Mexico signed at lower left by artist "C Hanson". The unframed work is housed presently simply matted. Measurements of the sheet are 16" by 19". I have researched the name online and have not located an artist name that might correspond. Nevertheless the work is excellent, the Pueblo sort of fractured into a Cubist image, with diagonal lines and a flat picture plane...

Alexander Ney Russian American contemporary sculptor " Medium Bird" N4 Alexander Nay brown terracotta carved figure of a bird,mid 1970s incised brown clay with a hole at back for mounting to a base, base not included. The artist initialed this piece" N 4 "in his usual incised way. Size l a bit over 3.5" by 1.5" high there is a slight chip to one edge of its beak as seen in pictures. This is from a very rare group of early miniature pieces most all were initialed in this way...

This symbol represents a idealized honeysuckle design which was used in over 17 Flemish paintings. A new lab report confirms the gold color is real "GOLD" on canvas!! Super rare!!

An English antique line engraving by Taylor, published by Alexander Hogg in "The Antiquities of England and Wales", 1795, the subject given as "View of Lambeth Palace in Surrey". The print measures 7 1/4" by 9 1/4" (and 13 1/2" by 15 1/2" framed). The print looks decidedly antique, the paper with old crinkles, and it is simply laid against a pinkish board. It appears to have been possibly trimmed at bottom. The decorative print is hand colored...
