The oil on board work probably dates to the 1920's or 1930's. I do not see an obvious artist name that I could link to this piece. A Cooper Union (New York City) old circular label remains affixed to the back of the board. Condition is vintage good, no problems.

I have searched without success for a signature. Likely dates before 1940 and more than likely by a listed artist. Light areas in immediate foreground are probably old losses, which have been in turn varnished over.
