Old (pre 1920, possibly as early as late 19th century) watercolor of coastal rocks, 10" by 14", the frame in which found measuring 18 1/2" by 22", signed at lower right "T. G. Stowers". The work, found in New England, was mounted on an old board years ago. As it was loose in the frame, I have removed it for photography, and will ship it between boards. Found in eastern Maine, a fine old still life pastel, the image including an orange, dark blue grapes, a walnut in the shell, and a metal vessel. At lower right are the words "GOOD SHEPHERD BAY VIEW" (???), but no signature. Circa 1900 date of execution judging from frame, which is dark stained walnut with gilt inner fillet. Size 9 1/4" by 12 3/4" (13" by 16 1/2" framed). Allow for a few reflections and some dust on the glass.

Still Life With Flowers Oil Painting by Purdy 30x40”, frame size36x46”

This work needs some TLC, due to a large rip, unstable and missing paint, and grime......a vintage late 19th century/early 20th century work on canvas, 18" by 30", unframed, apparently unsigned, the subject one of the volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest. The painting should be saved for posterity, but for that to happen, it will require relining, cleaning and inpainting by a professional restorer. If you are a restorer yourself, this would be an ideal acquisition.

Two finely executed pencil drawings, one titled "Mount Hood", the other of a mounted cowboy rounding up calves, the scene, I have been informed by a distant relative of the artist, being in Big Timber, Montana. The drawings are essentially unframed, currently just protected. Both measure roughly 5" by 7 3/4"; the Oregon scene has an uneven top margin area, and both open up, almost as if they were intended to be greeting cards, but there are no messages inside...

It features a great adaptation of Bourbon Street in New Orleans, showing the New Orleans Jazz and the well-known jazz bar, "The Cats Meow."
