Fine 18th century engraving of Pope Leo XI, framed 3x5 inches

A vintage study in charcoal of an infant on its back, 12" by 15" (16" by 19" framed), signed at lower right with what appears as "H Collins", and dated adjacent Sept. 14, 1953. I do not see a listed name that would correspond with this name or variants of it. The study is artistic, reminiscent of timeless Italian Renaissance drawings. There is age toning of the paper and some lighter, whitish areas at lower left, above the infant's left arm, and at lower right.

By the internationally famous English 20th century fashion photographer, artist, interior/stage/costume designer, tastemaker, and socialite, CECIL BEATON (1904-1980), this is an original pencil drawing of a nude woman, the sheet measuring 12 1/4" by 9 5/8" (16 1/2" by 14 1/2" in contemporary simple light wood frame).
