A charming, signed, pastel portrait by Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) who was (according to an obituary published in the Independent newspaper) "gifted in portraits of children". This is a fine pencil drawing of a Victorian style wood home, 16" by 11 1/2" (24 3/4" by 18 3/4" framed), signed at lower right "David" and dated there '73.
