Hermine David 1886-1970 French This is a fine original oil on canvas by French artist Hermine David 1886-1970. The subject is a group of strollers in Luxembourg Gardens, Paris. This painting done circa 1930 is signed lower right and measures 18 1/8X15 inches. Housed in a custom French style frame. Hermine was one of the Ecole de Paris artists. In 1918 she married Jules Pascin. Their association seems to have been an influence on the artwork of both artists.
