A beautiful courier and Ives Print titled Hudson river from Rugels House, nineteenth Century Print measures 10 x 14“, frame size 14 x 18“

Attributed to English artist J.Leslie, 19th Century English Painter, Mother and Child Oil Painting painted in the Italian style Frame Size 36 x 28"

***One of two very similar works by the artist in my shop, that should truly be kept together as a pair (see item JB0437)***Oil on canvas 19th century landscape with gnarled old tree, fence and birds, 15 3/4" by 12 3/4" (19 1/2" by 16 1/2" as framed), signed at lower left by well listed artist PIERRE LOUIS JOSEPH DE CONINCK (1828-1910). This French artist's works appear with some regularity at European auctions, the more important examples in the past having brought to over $30,000...

The frame size: 28"x 31" Image size: 19 1/4" x16 1/2". The subject of serigraph title, "Op Sail". It is excellent condition of Serigraph and frame. It is signed and numbered 106/150 by the artist, Phillip Kelsey and numbered on lower right in pencil. It is Original Serigraph, not Offset print. Printed on Arches paper. It came with Certificate of Authenticity (Parkwest Gallery)

19th Century American, "Landscape with Waterfalls". This is a very fine Hudson River School landscape, oil on academy board, 9 3/4 x 18 3/4 inches, c. 1880s, unsigned, in an ornate period gilt frame. Although this painting is unsigned it is quite well painted, evidently by a very competent artist.

A circa 1840 engraving of the famous column in the Place Vendome, central Paris, titled "Colonne de la Place Vendome", with "Rouargue freres del & sc" at lower left. The print measures 6 3/4" by 4 1/4" inside the mat and the work as framed measures 11 1/4" by 8 3/4". There are two Rouargue brothers; one, Adolphe (1810-c.1870) and Emile (c.1795-1865)...

Good representation in the style of Lin Rongqian’s cursive calligraphy, as a Mandarin: Fu Lu/Cantonese: Fuk. This is a gift given to someone to congratulate them and wish them financial success in their career. This is a scroll mounted painted meant to be hung horizontally. There are small tabs in the upper side with which to do so. Mounted- L: 150cm/59in and W: 60cm/23in.

A typical example of watercolor work by the noted New Orleans artist NESTOR FRUGE (1916-2011), 10 1/2" by 8 1/4" (17 1/4" by 13 1/4" framed), featuring a a New Orleans street scene with ornate cast iron balcony at upper right. Fruge painted mostly watercolors and was a familiar and beloved part of the Jackson Square tourist scene in New Orleans for decades. He painted mainly French Quarter scenes but also on occasion works such as bayou swamp landscape...

The title of this wonderful oil on canvas work by George Henry Story is "Daydreaming," and that beautifully conveys the feeling of the piece. A pretty young girl is sits on a ladderback chair with a pan of fruit she is peeling resting on her lap. At the right of the painting is a wooden cupboard displaying tableware. At the left the family bible and another book rest on a table which is covered with a flowered cloth...

Leonard Russell Squirrell 1893-1979 British This is an oriignal aquatint etching by British artist Leonard R. Squirrell, this etching was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 75 signed proofs. The image measures 11X16 1/4 inches. Pencil signed by the artist in pencil lower right border. Fine use of highlight and shadow making a dramatic composition. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper. A rare image only found in Museums.

A circa 1960's or early 1970's mixed media collage painting of a "Big Eyed" girl and her doll, painted in his usual whimsical fashion, by the French mid century impressionist artist ROGER ETIENNE (1922-2011). The painting (23 1/4" by 17 1/2", and 29 1/4" by 23 1/4" as framed) is signed at lower right "Rousseau", but this fools no one; it is clearly by the artist Roger Etienne. Why he chose to use a pen name on this particular example will remain an unknown...
