Condition; very good, though the corners are bruised.

I would guess it dates from the 1930’s.

Cute embossed Halloween post card illustrating a boy using a giant jack o'lantern to scare a grown man. The man's hair is sticking straight up and his cap is flying off! Unsigned hand-tinted photograph of a stream/pond scene. Image size is 5 7/8 by 3 3/4 inches, mat size is 9 5/8 by 7 5/8 inches. Framed size is 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. Condition is good with a water stain on left side of mat near frame, small white spot on mat in upper right of image. Pre-1940, original frame and backing, very minor damage to lower right frame corner. Horizontal coloration difference is due to lighting when taking photo of framed work, not a flaw.

Nice vintage embossed Halloween post card showing a boy carrying a black cat past a glowing jack-o'lantern. The illustration is unsigned, but looks like the work of Ellen Clapsaddle. Marked on the front with the letters "LSC" around a circle with a "C" in it. The back is marked "Series 226E". Unused. Circa 1910. Condition: softening along edges, nice color.

An excellent print with good tones. 5 7/8 by 8 1/8 inches (15 by20.5cm). The white light cardboard stock is shaded slightly darker for about one inch around the photo. 2 albumen photographs pasted back-to-back on one page taken from a larger album. These are posed photographs, presumably of the teams. One is the Polo team and the other is I think the Cricket 11. Underneath both in pen is the notation, “Sandhurst 1877,” this refers to the Royal Military College at Sandhurst. The polo players is 8 ¼ x 10 ½ inches and the Cricket players 8 3/8 x 10 ¾ inches.

Condition: They are clear and generally good, though both were bent before being attached to ...
