This great lamp is pictured in the book "19th Century Patterned Art Glass Chamber Lamps", pages 168 & 169. It is all original with the exception that it has been electrified. An antique Chinese seal chop of soapstone with an image of Hotei. Chinese seals are used with red ink or cinnabar paste (zhusha). A seal in an East is a general name for printing stamps and impressions which are used in lieu of signatures in personal documents, office paperwork, contracts, art, or any item requiring acknowledgement or authorship. The process started in China and soon spread across East Asia.

H: 4 ½ inches (11.43 cm)Length：7 inches (10.78 cm) Depth: 4 inches (10.16 cm)The artistically shaped teapot is carved on its bottom with a seal mark of Gongchun, the ingenious Ming Dynasty master of zisha craftsmanship. Four and half inches in height and Seven inches in length, it bears two famous lines composed by an ancient Chinese poet on the Buddhist tea ceremony. The teapot is exceptional in both its design and workmanship (A tiny chip on the inner mouth-rim).

Stunning cut glass compote from the brilliant period. I can't find a signature, but I'm sure its identifiable to an expert on patterns. It measures 8" tall x 6" diameter at the bottom, and has a tear drop stem. There is one TINY flake at the top, but other than that it looks to be in perfect condition.

This is an unusual Chinese porcelain Famille Rose covered cup made for the European market, with gilded rope twist handles; late 18th century. Condition: chip inside rim of cup. Measurement: 5"h x 5" dia.

A lovely set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons in the “Wild Rose” variant of the “Vine” pattern. The bowls are in the elongated shape often seen in Tiffany demitasse spoons and are enhanced with soft matte gilding. Each is stamped with the Tiffany hallmark used 1873-1891. The spoons are accompanied by a Tiffany felt bag of more recent vintage.

A 19th century Chinese canopy lacquered bed of cypress and elmwood (ju-mu). The bed rail has a turned spindle gallery with a low relief carving of scrolling floral panels as the back splash. The canopy spandrel has turned hook-spindles for holding drapes or clothing. The main canopy lattice pattern has a centralized floral medallion.
