This beautiful textile was made by Pashtun nomadic tribeswomen of Hazarajat. It measures 52 x 65 cm without the fringes (57 x 71 cm including the fringes). Shisha (mirrors) illuminate the textile and are fastened by buttonhole stitches, surrounded by volute designs worked in a very fine ladder stitch in silk thread on a dark purple silk background. Richly enameled with vibrant colors this snuff bottle features a bee headed towards a group of flowers. The cap is a red stone and the bottle is hand painted and signed on the bottom. A nice piece for the beginning collector which will only increase in value over time. Measures 3.75 inches high.

A set of four fans (uchiwa) made of bamboo and washi (Japanese hand-made paper). Each has hand-painted pictures and signs such as three kabuki "kumadori" which is special makeup of the kabuki player and Otahuku. All have the same written seal marks, however the name of the artist is not clear. Two are painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) 20th century. In excellent condition. W:30.5cm H:35.5cm

This vintage Hazara waistcoat from Jaghori in central Afghanistan is embroidered in extremely fine cross stitch in silk thread, depicting interlocking eight star motifs, a traditional motif in Hazara embroidery. The collar, shoulder bands and side panels are meticulously worked in Bukhara stitching in metallic thread, where the couched threads are laid in parallel to each other and are fastened by small stitches...

This is a really pretty crystal Ruby Flashed Wakefield, aka Waterford, 5 1/2 inch diameter X 4 1/2 inch high Mint Comport made by Westmoreland Glass. This Comport has the Pie Crust Edge (Ruby Flashed on the Pie Crust edge and foot) and is signed WG on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. These five vintage English Ravenhead mugs are quite collectible and functional barware from which to enjoy a bit of brew. The base is panel ribbed up to smooth, clear glass. The clear handle is a good hand size, and it is all put together with two molds. The logo is of a stylized raven with RAVENHEAD above the head, GLASS beneath the claws and below is ENGLAND. Ay-O represented Japan at the Venice Biennale in 1966 and at the São Paulo Biennale in 1971...
