Beautiful Set of 8 French Louis XVI Style Black Lacquer & Gilt Armchairs Chairs in stripped silk peau de soir fabric and custom slip covers

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

This Fenton Red Hobnail Bell is in mint condition. Made in the early 1960's and stands about 6" tall.

This is a pumpkin-shaped teapot made of Yixing clay with a very smooth texture. The lid has a finial simulating a stalk, while the handle and the spout are meticulously modelled in the form of a stem. On the body near the handle side there is a moulding of tendrils, in relief form, of leave and flower. On the underside of the base is the potter's signature, "Chen Mingyuan" is inscribed. Also, on the inner side of the cover, there is another seal mark bearing his name, “Mingyuan”...

Hocking's Charm pattern was produced from 1950 to 1956 as part of their Fire King line of glassware. Pair of decorative leather bound bookends with brass accents. Silver tone metal mounts of a Griffon accent the brass; gold tone stitching accents the rich brown leather. Bears logo of Mark Cross in gold on the bottom of each piece. The bookends measure 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall, 5.5 inches (14 cm) deep and 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) wide. Some scuffs and marks from use, but no rips or tears to the leather, nor dents to the metal. Circa 1960.

This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.

This is a very Handsome pair of all original French Club chairs form the late 40's, early 50's. They sit deep and comfortably. They have their original velvet cushions. This hand hammered sterling silver bowl was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. The interior of the bowl measures 6 1/2" across & 2 1/2 inches deep. Bowl weight is 652 grams or 23 oz. Each of the 3 handles are accented with 2 raised silver domes. Beautiful condition. Excellent accent piece for any room. This design is included in the superb & permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.

A wonderful contemporary furniture piece in a Chinese altar table style, made by a highly regarded local craftsman. The underside has the RE Studio brand mark to show it is a special, original made piece. Made of black walnut with smooth natural finish, with special decorative elements such as lighter "ash" hardwood "keys", and "butterflies" on the inner leg to hold the natural fissures of the wood. Skillfully made with mortis and tenon joinery.
