The size of Trinket Box: 2 3/8" Long x 1 1/4" W x 2 1/4" High. This is very adorable French Porcelain Limoges Trinket Pig Box. It is all hand painted. Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. Normandie is a depression glass pattern often called by the carnival glass pattern name 'Bouquet and Lattice'. Produced from 1933 to 1939 by Federal Glass Company, it is the only iridescent depression glass pattern from that time period. This is the 8 inch round serving bowl in excellent condition. Kamakurabori, the lacquerware of Kamakura City in Kanagawa Prefecture, is appreciated all over Japan. This set of pre-war "chataku" tea cup coasters is a fine example of this craft. They measure 15cm(6") in diameter, with a height of 2.5cm(1"). Plenty of references are available on this craft that has its origins in producing lacquered wood carving for the numerous Buddhist temples of Kamakura during the 11th & 12th centuries.

Cambridge Statuesque Carmen Compote. This the largest of the Statuesque line. Stands 9 inches tall and is 6.5 inches wide at the bowl. It is in excellent, pristine condition. Produced in the 1920's.

Wonderful 1960’s sterling silver concho belt by a very fine Navajo silversmith of N.P, c. 1950s-60s.

Unusally large and heavy plus very ornate with particularly fine select large torquise stones mounted on 12 Conches and the massive buckle.

The belt measure 130 cm. length and weighs 932 grams, almost a kilo. Probably the largest we've seen for sale and the high weight must be due to the larger size of the Conchos and buckle.

Green and yellow bearded dog figural decanter, hollow with hole for cork. Seguso made these decanters for Luxardo in the 1960's. Length/height of the decanter is 12 inches (30cm). Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, but with Luxardo liqueur labels, import labels. Please note: there is some "debris" inside the bottle as I did not wash it out for fear of destroying the labels.

A Durand glass, blue iridescent vase, made around 1925 by Vineland Glassworks - the iridescence is similar to Steuben's, 'Aurene' and Tiffany's, 'Favrile'. The vase is 8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide. Polished pontil. It is in fine condition (there is a spurious, 'LCT' at the bottom). Like many Durand glass objects, the vase is unsigned - it is guaranteed to be by Durand in their Shape Number 1730 (please refer to page 160 of Meschi's book for this vase-shape).

Basket handmade of Yama-budo, wild grapevine which grows deep in the mountains. It is used by a mountain worker as a backpack. Generally in good condition but has a few minor breaks. The first half of the 20th century. W:43cm x 28cm x 15cm.

This drum handle is still provided with the wooden wedge which is used to fix it on the drum. The top shows 3 faces with open and threatening mouths, each face is separated by the Shaivite trisul. The center part is a very fine dorgi framed by spherical basketwork patterns the whole giving a shape that fits well in the hand. The triangular point shows a very beautiful sculptural work.
