Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. Made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 6 1/2" long and is in good condition except for the tip which has wear from use...

This is one of the popular early to mid 19th century birth/baptismal certificates, known as "Geburts und Taufschein", 16 1/2" by 13 3/4" in thin strip framing, printed by G.S. Peters of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the name of the child and the parents written by hand along with other details such as place and date of birth...

A 4 1/4 inch tall colorless hexagonal tumbler with applied jewels and enameling. The base of the tumbler is polished flat and bears a “Glasfabrik Karlsbad” logo and “Moser Austria.” There is slight wear to the gold on the edges of the tumbler.

A colorful green and white bakelite die holds a set of six chrome and bakelite dice picks in this Art Deco set. The cocktail pick holder (“porte-piques”) was once a fixture of every French bar or café. Today they can be used to spear cocktail olives, cherries or onions, or to serve small hors d’oeuvres.

Pretty set of eight bone china coasters by Royal Worcester. Each has a hand painted transfer-printed floral bouquet design. The outer edges are ridged and the rims are gilt. In addition to their original purpose, the coasters could also be used for nut dishes or even butter pats.

A beautiful hand painted Willets Belleek handled bowl with fancy crimped rim. The bowl is 5 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall. Measured across the handles, the bowl is 6 ½ inches. The underside bears the brown Willets Belleek mark used from the mid 1880's to 1909. The decoration consists of pink roses with green foliage surrounding a large gold scroll bearing a series of tuquoise beads, each of which is surounded by gold dots...

Art nouveau bronze desk ends(set of 4), c.1905. This very heavy gauge desk accessory, each measures 4 3/8" by 3 1/4" by 3 1/4", and are each signed #"4120". Each will accept a blotter that will fit into the rimmed edge. There is a monogram on one tip only(see photo). Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.

Sterling toothpick holder by Victoria, Mexico, c.1945. Hand made and charming, it measures 1 1/2" high by 2" in diameter. Made of heavy gauge silver, it weighs 2 troy ounces. Signed "VICTORIA TAXCO MEXICO STERLING (bellmark)12 48", this early piece of Victoria is in excellent condition. Old Colony is the correct name for the pattern that collectors have always called 'Lace Edge'. It was produced by Hocking from 1935 to 1938. Offered here is the footed sherbet in pink. 3 inches high and about 5 inches across, these are very hard to find. This one is in excellent condition with no chips or damage. This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It has a model number 1005 on the base. It is 5 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches high. The kitty is modeled in reclining pose. He has a little twitch in his tail as if he were just awakening from a nap. Now it’s time for a game or maybe a snack. He is hand painted with the most beautiful cat eyes. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
