The border was designed the wife of James Stevenson-Hamilton, the first warden of Kruger National Park. In excellent condition, they measure 10.75 inches in diameter.

This is a large vase, and rather heavy, 21 1/2" long, 11" across, signed with a "P" in the chalky base. I've examined it closely and find no chips on rim or anywhere else. The piece is entirely hand thrown and decorated/painted, and quite Arts and Craftsy in feeling. I am a paintings specialist so this is somewhat out of my league. I did send images to Rago Auction in New Jersey and they were unable to identify the maker. It was found here in Southern California...

This porcelain demitasse set for 8 was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1955. The mark contains the date cipher for that year. The set consists of a demitasse pot and 8 cups and saucers. The pot is 8 3/4 inches high and 6 1/2 inches from the spout to the handle. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high and the saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The porcelain is bone china with an ivory hue. French Majolica plate by Cerenne, Vallauris, 1950's. Relief moulded and brightly painted decoration of sea food, the animals forming reserves for six oysters. Charles René Roger Neveux ("Cerenne" = CRN) was the leader of one of the most popular ceramic studios in Vallauris. Diameter "10/ 25,5 cm. Condition: a few minimal chips and a small restoration to the rim as seen on photo.

A group of four small French Vallauris 1950's Demi-Demi (half-half) pieces: a handled black and white jug and a black and white pitcher, a mini vase in turquoise blue and black, and a small yellow and black cache-pot.
