This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims. This tortoise ashbowl measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2" high.

Due to the polularity of the tortoise figurines, Wade decided to introduce an ashtray, or ashbowl, utilizing the figurines as decoration to add interest to the bowls. The bowl is in the Scintillite finish.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. They were painted by the renowned artist, P. Curnock. He used color beautifully in the skies and mountains...

Francesca Mascitti Lindh for Arabia, double-handled jar, 1960s. Shape referring to the Bronze Age. Height: 3 " / 7, 5 cm, width: 6 1/2 " / 16,5 cm. Condition: part of the rim restuck and a glaze chip on the side has been refilled.

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

This fine china is the American Franciscan Ivy pattern. The dinner plate is 10 3/8" in diameter, embossed, and hand-painted under glaze. It was made by the Gladding, McBean & Company circa 1948

One dinner plate shows very little crazing and the other shows the crazing in the bottom of the plate. Pictures 2 and 3 show the back stamps for each of these plates. These plates retail for $29.95 each.

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. Beautiful Japanese studio vase, in the form of a Han Dynasty cocoon vase, in the Mingei style, mid 20th century. Very reminiscent of the work of Kawai Kanjiro.
