Measuring 9 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high, this gorgeous, Ohio-made, yellowware fruit bowl features fabulous blue sponging with gold gilt highlights along its decoratively embossed and scalloped rim.

The bowl has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery. An extremely tight hairline on one side of the bowl has been photographed for one’s perusal. It does not affect structural integrity, and the pricing of the bowl reflects this imperfection...

This Blue Ridge "Ridge Daisy" oval serving platter is 11 3/4". It is in the colonial blank with 3 yellow/brown flowers.

This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. This covered dish was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is finely pierced or reticulated. The handle and roses on the lid are applied. The dish is hand painted in brilliant colors and amply gilded. It would be used as a pot-pourri dispenser. Black transferware on cream Wedgwood porcelain plates of jungle animals. The plates were made from hand engravings by the Wedgwood School of Engraving. The border was designed the wife of James Stevenson-Hamilton, the first warden of Kruger National Park. In excellent condition, they measure 10.75 inches in diameter.

Large Art Deco ceramic sculpture by Charles Catteau (France, 1880-1966)for Boch Freres Keramis, circa 1925-1935, depicting an ice skating couple. In excellent condition. Small glaze skip on the shoulder of the woman (original to the piece). Signed with Boch Freres La Louviere circular printed mark and inscribed 1133 on the bottom. Also inscribed "BFK Ch. Catteau" underglaze on the base. Approximately 13" tall.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It measures 9 1/2 inches high and 6 inches wide. The piece has a glamorous 1950s look. The gentleman has three fingers held up for three kisses from his lady. The group is finely modeled with excellent detail. It is hand painted to give just enough color and definition to the couple. Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

Two small vessels by well known American studio potter Tom Turner (currently living and working in North Carolina.) These two pieces are tenmoku glazed and are hand thrown in porcelain (Tom Turner is acknowledged as an American master in this medium). Both are signed by the artist. In excellent condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1926. The diameter of the plate is 9 1/4 inches. The central fruit painting is signed William Dee. He was an artist renown for his fruit painting. The plate is made of fine bone china. The entire surface of the plate is covered with intricate gilding. The center of the plate is ivory colored and the border is apple green. The fruits in the center are realistic and quite vivid...

German Porcelain cobalt blue deep regular size of Saucer, possibly Rothenthal, 1950's, 5 1/2" diameter, 7/8" high, gold rim finish on top and bottom and also around the well area where cup is resting. Marked "S99" in underglaze blue on the bottom. The condition is good.

Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

This figurine was made by the Ernst Bohne Sohne Rudolstadt Volkstedt plant in Germany in the mid to late 19th century.
