A large bright, hand painted, matt glazed Art Deco vase made in the Plateelba Zuid-Holland (PZH) factory, Gouda, in the Netherlands. This item carries the date mark for 1932. Condition: Excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration. 30cm (12inches) high; 16cm (6.3inches) diameter.

Rare Bavarian plate with elves by Heinrich & Co. Artist signed, the painting is of two small elves; one of which is using a leaf as a shield while fighting off a bee. It is titled "An Unpleasant Interruption". Gold rim. Excellent condition, measures 9 diameter.

This vintage stoneware pottery 6 gallon ice water dispenser (water cooler) was made by Roseville Pottery Company circa 1900 or before.

The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.

The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.

This item was manufactured by Schumann/ Bavaria between 1945-1963. The pattern name is Chateau Dresden. It is 10 1/2" oval bowl with pierced rim with florals on the rim and in the center. It is in excellent condition. There are no repairs, no cracks, and no repairs to this item.

Melusina or Melusine is a heroine in medieval European folklore. This figurine is a modernist version of her transformation into an often two-tailed mermaid or fish. Little is known about Y-Keramik other than the workshop was situated in former Western Germany and that the gilding was made of 24 karat gold, this information available on paper labels on other Y-Keramik figures from the 1970's. A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.

These 4 porcelain ramekins were produced in France by Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot Limoges in the 1940s. The under plates have a diameter of 5 inches and the cups have a diameter of 4 inches. Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

This is a Swedish National Museum publication from 1975 devoted to the artisans and products made by the Gustavsberg factory. Profusely illustrated in black and white. Swedish text, but an invaluable reference guide because of the illustrations. Excellent condition.

This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.

These four Minton Gold Ancestral dessert plates (#S 595) are quite handsome indeed. Each are marked on the back and also each has the Minton imprint. The brown-red transfer decoration of flowers and leaves is painted with turquoise and pink enamel to accent the flowers. Each plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Fraureuth in 1935. The piece is artist signed but we are unable to identify the signature. It is 7 inches long and 5 3/4 inches high. The dachshund is well modeled with nice breed detail. He is hand painted in natural colors. Condition: Excellent. On the underside of the figurine something was ground off, as shown in the last photo.
