Six(6) English Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Demitasse Cups and Saucers, cup-1 1/4" high, 2 1/8" diameter-top rim and saucer-3/4" high, 4 7/8" diameter with Primrose design, marked "Crown Staffordshire, Made in England" in green and name of pattern is "Maytime" in brown on the bottom. One(1) cup has old glaze hairline across the bottom continue to top rim and small frit on the rim outside but I did not see any hairline inside the cup.

Tall Czech Amphora art deco 2 handled pottery vase featuring enameled ostriches and palm trees set against a textured matte ground. The backside had a very art deco design, perhaps a stylized flower? In excellent, it measures 16 inches high. More photos available upon request.

Measuring 9 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high, this gorgeous, Ohio-made, yellowware fruit bowl features fabulous blue sponging with gold gilt highlights along its decoratively embossed and scalloped rim.

The bowl has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery. An extremely tight hairline on one side of the bowl has been photographed for one’s perusal. It does not affect structural integrity, and the pricing of the bowl reflects this imperfection...

This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. Signed on the back of the neck. We have been unable to decipher the signature; yet the work speaks well for the unidentified artist. Dimension: 13" h

Large and colorful, this blue bowl with a golden yellow interior is relief decorated on the exterior with small raspberry red flowers, light green tendrils, and paisley shaped pink medallions. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. A beautiful bird sits on a flowering branch while in insect flutters by. The style is Japanese Kakiemon, done in shades of blue, green. and violet. The cup is sparsely decorated with a flower sprig here and a bug, in a minimalist manner...

2 Portuguese Faience Pottery Wall Vase, Wall Pocket, 6 1/4" high, 3 1/2" wide-widest top area, 2 1/4" deep, hand painted floral decoration in front, one(1) flake chip on the bottom about 1" x 1/2" wide on the lower area.

This porcelain vase was produced in Copenhagen, Denmark by the Royal Copenhagen factory in the mid 20th century. It is marked with the inventory number 3055. It measures 12 1/4 inches tall and has a diameter of 5 inches. The vase has a classic baluster shape used from ancient times in the Middle East. The crackle glaze is inspired by ancient Asian porcelain. The body of the vase is sea foam green. The neck and interior of the vase is gray. There are bands of bright gold accenting it...

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It is 3 inches long and 3 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a preening bird. It has a special European style. The bird is hand painted with bright enamels in lovely detail. Condition: Excellent.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has both an impressed shield and printed mark. It is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is designed with molded ribs and slight scallops on the rim. It is hand painted with a bouquet of flowers in the center and little buds dotting the border. The rim is trimmed with gold. The quality and value of this piece is evident in its workmanship. Condition: Excellent

A French Vallauris dish by Cerenne, with black, silky glaze. Decoration in bright enamels of a gardener with his tools and flower pots.The back with impressed Vallauris mark and painted MC (painters signature) and Cerenne Vallauris. Cerenne (=CRN) was the signature used by one of the largest ceramic workshops in Vallauris, led by Charles René Roger Neveux. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: small rubbing to the glaze just outside the right flower.

It is brown speckled with green and brown bands in the "Skyline" shape. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.

 

This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.

A Grimwades Royal Winton Tuba green lustre Flower Aid frog. This decorative English pottery flower frog or support has a luster finish and it was made by Royal Winton in the Grimwades Tuba series. It has the black Grimwades backstamp and the registry number for 1922. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing. Large and impressive French Art Deco vase by Robert Lallemant (1902-1954), circa 1928-1930. Almost black iridescent glaze. Fully signed: "T.R.Lallemant" and inscribed "France". 14 3/4" tall. Robert Lallemant was an important French ceramicist of the period, as well as a furniture designer (he created furniture for the UAM--Union des Artistes Modernes) and all around designer and photographer.

Lovely pair of porcelain compotes in the "Dresden Garland" pattern by Schumann. The pierced rims are heavily decorated with colorful flowers and gilding. Each compote is centered with a floral bouquet surrounded by entwined gilt and floral garlands. The decorative motifs are echoed on the pedestals. The bottoms are marked by Schumann.
