Large, signed vase from the 1980s by Raymond Gallucci (USA, PA, 1923-2005). 10 1/2" tall. 7" across. Works by this artist are in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia Museum of art, and the Michener Museum.

This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1955 and 1957. The model number is 1524. It measures 3 inches high by 3 inches wide. The figure is modeled with fine detail. The fur, toes and fingers are all well defined. Their facial expressions give these little imps charm. They are hand painted in earth tones. Condition: They are in excellent, original condition with a minor glaze pit. This is mentioned for accuracy.

This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims. Condition: Excellent

A very nicely painted delicate porcelain cup, saucer and cup cover painted predominantly with carp but including a lobster and a couple of fish. All three pieces have elaborate painted borders. Gilding is used on the carp and the borders. The two handled cup is marked in red with a stamp, “CHINA” inside an oval. Large charger by Val M. Cushing (USA, New York, 1931-2013), from his "shard series". Circa 1970-1980. 18" in diameter. Signed. Cushing was professor of ceramics at Alfred University. His works are in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the Smithsonian, the National Design Museum, the Everson Museum to just name a few.

Lovely pair of porcelain compotes in the "Dresden Garland" pattern by Schumann. The pierced rims are heavily decorated with colorful flowers and gilding. Each compote is centered with a floral bouquet surrounded by entwined gilt and floral garlands. The decorative motifs are echoed on the pedestals. The bottoms are marked by Schumann.

Offered is a unique, original drawing by Wilhelm Kage for his celebrated Argenta series for Gustavsberg. This was acquired from a source that knew Kage personally (name protected). This would be a superb complement to the large Argenta urn on the site.

This set of 10 porcelain soup cups and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date ciphers on the bottom indicate that year. They were made especially for the retailer Marshall Field of Chicago. All of the pieces are artist signed by renowned Worcester painters. Two of them are E. Phillips and A. Freeman. The saucers have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high not counting the handles...

A work of studio pottery, found in Southern California, the color a rich earthy brown, the vessel pierced intentionally by the artist to create naturalistic openings, similar to the distinctive style of Peter Voulkos (1924-2002). The piece measures 7 1/2" high by 5" diameter. The piece is signed on the bottom "Balvin 79". Surprisingly I do not see a studio potter by this name, but the artist was obviously talented and also familiar with Voulkos' acclaimed work.

This beautiful tankard and cup set is marked, JPL, Limoges for Jean Pouyat. It dates from the late 19th century up until 1932. The gilded grapes are beautifully executed against a cobalt blue ground. Perfect condition.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup and saucer are octagonal shaped. It is decorated in a bold, abstract art deco design. There are alternating panels of flowers and flowing colors. This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!
