This is a really pretty 11 1/2 inch X 9 inch Oval Platter made by Crooksville China. The Platter has a Wild Roses decoration on it with platinum trim. This Platter is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some light surface scratches. The decoration and platinum trim is all very good. This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend before World War II. It is 5 3/4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a bunch of asparagus tied up with a pink ribbon. It is hand painted with nice detail. Condition: Excellent

I am not a specialist in this sort of thing, but will describe to the best of my ability: this is a vintage, circa 1920's to early 1940's at latest, ceramic work depicting a distant fairy castle, towering cumulus clouds in the sky, a grove of trees at right balancing the scene. Measurements are 9 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 7/8" thick, and the piece weighs roughly 2 3/4 pounds. More than likely this is by one of the known ceramic works of California from the Arts and Crafts period; found in Los Angeles...

This porcelain trinket box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid-20th century. It is 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high. It is made of superb quality hard paste porcelain. It is decorated with expertly hand painted flowers. They are realistic and very colorful. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
