Bubble was produced by Anchor Hocking from the 1940's through 1965. The sapphire blue color is a beautiful light blue unlike any other depression era color. This lovely vase was made in the early 1950s by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Marc Heiremans documents the model #5148 and date of 1952-53 in his book DINO MARTENS, p. 163 and 190.
Aventurine, champagne and opalino half filigree embrace the body of the vessel and ribbon details were applied to the lip and neck. The vase measures 5 1/2"H, 4 1/2"D. and is in good vintage condition.
