Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a circular stoneware bowl, covered all over with Lava glaze, full of “volcanic” effects in intense shades of yellowish-green and orange. This pattern is also seen in vases, boxes etc. from Bitossi. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of this renown Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/564 (?) and Italy. Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

An elegant second standard (800/1000 pure silver) French tastevin. Rather than the typical "perles" and fluted "godrons", the bowl of this tastevin is decorated with repousse grape leaves and berries in the 18th century style. A group of four small French Vallauris 1950's Demi-Demi (half-half) pieces: a handled black and white jug and a black and white pitcher, a mini vase in turquoise blue and black, and a small yellow and black cache-pot. All probably by Cérenne. Height "3 ¼/ 8 cm to "5 ¾/ 14,5 cm. Condition: the jug with a minimal flake to the rim.

Cut Crystal Pitcher, vintage, 7 3/4" high, 5 1/4" wide include handle, the condition is good.

Fenton Red Cornucopia Candle Sticks from the late 1920's and early 1930's. It is in mint condition. Sorry, but I have only one stick. It is about 5.5" tall.

An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries. The picks are presented in their original velvet and silk-lined fitted box. Each pick is marked “Sterling Silver”. It's quite rare to find a set of a dozen picks rather than the standard six.

The Newport or Hairpin pattern was made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's. The color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. Ca 1920 An unmarked hand chased, etched silver cigarette case.The interior has a goldwash; the band is missing. There are a few dark spots and the piece is unpolished. 3" x 4-1/8"~166gr.

This tortoise ashbowl measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2" high.

Due to the polularity of the tortoise figurines, Wade decided to introduce an ashtray, or ashbowl, utilizing the figurines as decoration to add interest to the bowls. The bowl is in the Scintillite finish.
