Rare Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon big single fish dish, rounded side with flattened rim and glazed base, dish decorated with big single fish motif at interior, outer wall with raised lotus petal motif, covered with golden green glaze.
Dish is in good condition no crack, no chip, no restoration, porcelain with good ping sound with finger tip.

An antique Japanese choba tansu (merchant's chest) made of kiri (paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including stylized gumbai handles. Two sliding kiri wood panels framed in black lacquer over two large drawers for safe keeping of inventory. Iron drawer corners feature raised seed pods suggesting this chest originated in the Yonezawa region of Japan.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Octagonal/Hexagonal shape Dish, early part of 1900's, 1 3/8" high, 6 1/8" x 5 1/4" wide, overglaze and gilt highlight design of a Swan with red crown flying over the Japanese Bamboo fenced flower garden in the center. Invisible restoration on one(1) small chip 1/4" area, and very shallow stained old chip 1/2" long on the top rim.

Circa English 1870, a rare faux burl walnut book slide featuring a pair of gilt brass gothic revival style mounts enclosing an oval Sevres hand painted porcelain plaque of a woman. The faux painted burl wood and is quite exceptional in detail, depth and richness of color. Note: one brad missing in a lower right corner (see 2nd photo). In very good antique condition, it measures 6.25 inches high, 5.75” deep, and 13” long. Extends up to 22.5” long.

A nice and rare pottery lamp of a late Roman / Byzantine type, with inscriptions on the body, ca. 5th.-7th. century AD.

Interesting and intact lamp with only minor wear and small chips.

Antique Japanese chop case made of boxwood and carved with a beautiful lady. The Inside of the box is still coated with powdered orange-red seal ink, at the base of the box is a semi circular bead made of amber, the top of the box is closed with a bead of bone and a smaller one of coral, the toggle is the shell of a cone snail, the sea creature hunts with a venomous barb. Here is a real beauty. Perfect in form, shape and design: Ao-Oribe (Green Oribe) Chawan from the early stage of Edo period. Little distorted half cylinder shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl with slightly flaring mouth made of light, unrefined Mino clay.

The expertly thrown body was trimmed with a potters knife and covered with the typical green copper oxide glaze inside and outside...

Victorian decorative sterling clip, c.1893. Measures 2 3/4" by 1 5/8" and the hinge is in excellent working order. it is marked "STERLING 3905 PAT.1893". There is also a maker's mark that has faded and is hard to read. Excellent condition......$10 for insured shipping.

A set of three bronze macaques with fine incised detail in their faces and fur. Their postures are a highly naturalistic rendering. The underbelly of each monkey is signed by the famous bronze animalist artist, Genryusai Seiya. Perfect condition. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
