A rare GENUINE SWATOW MING DYNASTY POLYCHROME BOWL, 1570-1650, with overglaze iron red and green. Fair overall condition, with some wear due to condiderable age inside the bowl. As common in SWATOW WARE, this bowl has sand/kiln/grit deposits on the bottom and outside and because of the high temperatures in the firing kiln, it is not perfectly level, but warped as shown in the photograph. Size: 21 cm. diameter. Very low price as warped!

A lovely large bronze ring of the Byzantine and early Islamic type, 6th.-8th. cent. AD.

The ring with a thick ring and oval bezel, which is engraved with an interesting relief engraving of structures or perhaps an ancient form of writing.

Porcelain beaker decorated in transfer and polychrome enamels with scenes from Boston. The scenes include Faneuil Hall, Bunker Hill Monument, and Old State House. These glasses were made in Bohemia and Germany from the 1890's until World War I. We are also offering similar glasses featuring Mackinac Island, St. Louis and Cincinnati.

Meiji / Taisho (1910s) lacquered wood kogo (box for incense during tea ceremony), its top decorated with low relief depiction of an elephant, its trunk raised. Very nice object in Japanese taste, multilayered differently colored lacquer, two parts fit perfectly, beautiful surfaces, in excellent condition. Diameter 2.2 inches.

A Pair of bronze Coins was issued by Wang Mang 王莽 of the short-lived Xin dynasty新朝（AD9年－23年） 。
The 'hanging needle' script on the coin is special.

A nice and rare porcelain cup, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with jumping horses. Ming Dynasty, Chenghua Period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Diameter : 6,2 cm. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : No chip, no crack, no repair. This what looks like a chip is covered by the original glaze. And this what looks like a crack is just a still very dirty scratch. This excavated piece is still un-cleaned. After a professional cleaning this scratch might become quite invisible to the naked eye...

The cups very thinly potted, the rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted rim, finely decorated around the exterior with a profusion of multi-coloured 'flower-balls' arranged asymmetrically and scattered throughout, freely floating, all carefully enamelled in soft pastels against a white ground, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a Qianlong ( 1736 - 1795 ) six-character seal mark and of the period. A George III Regency Period Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddy. Sarcophagus Form with Brass Rings on the Side and Top; the Top Ring with a Brass Fruit Basket design. It Stands on Four Brass Bun Feet, with dimensions of 11.5" wide x 5.25" deep x 6.5" high. There are Two Lidded Inserts Over the Inside Tea Compartments and a Mixing Bowl that is not believed to be original. Circa 1815, with Some Minor Inlay Missing (see pictures), otherwise in excellent condition.

Special offer: 4 Tang Dynasty terra cotta statues, all have had repair i.e. heads glued back on- (two are not the original heads). The amber glazed figure has the original sancai glaze though not very shiny. Dimensions note in enlargement text.

A pair of Japanese lacquered iron abumi (stirrups) decorated with gold lacquer on a roiro ground. It has butterfly family crests (mon) in the center of a scrolling leaf and flower border, the interior in red lacquer.

The butterfly design was a favorite among the aristocrats and was seen in their belongings, ox-carts and attire during the Heian period (794-1192). They were also seen in armor of the Heike (Taira family) before power was shifted to the Genji (Minamoto family) samurai...
