In the Karatsu style, but probably Kyoto ware. The buff-colored stoneware body is decorated with a stylized plum tree design in underglaze iron oxide with white slip clay for the blossoms. It is covered overall in a clear glaze that thickens a bit along one side of the inner wall, making a curtain effect. Opposite sides of the dish have been knife-cut for aesthetic appeal. Description:
A green-glazed vase was well potted and was painted on the surface with black motif of peony flower.
It was preserved in perfect condition with finely spread crackles due to age.
Irridescent reflection can be observed too.
Some burial adhesives were kept at the foot bottom.

Wonderful expressive face with wrinkles and hollow cheeks, beautiful wear and patina. Looks like old smoothed losses to the back of her robe by the bottom. Height 2.73 inches.

Each panel is beautifully done, an intense expression seen in the face of each bird, which were a very popular status symbol. Signed and stamped on each panel. A fine Antique Porcelain BENJARONG/BENCHARONG BOWL, specially made in China for the Siamese Court and Nobility. Late 18/19th Century. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree figures on a Famille Noire background. Size: 17.1 cm. diameter x 8.9 cm height (3 1/2" x 6 3/4". Good condition, with 1 firing hairline on top rim, hardly noticeable, except upon close inspection. Rare size and item!

It could be the representation of views of Ômi, around Lake Biwa (present Shiga prefecture). The temple on the rocky mountain is probably the Ishiyama-dera, built around 762 A.D. in Ôtsu. It is part of the Kansai Kannon pilgrimage circuit...

A very rare early Ming 15th century longquan celadon octagonal shape large dish, octagonal shape with wide spread rim and unglazed base, dish decorated with carving flower motif at interior, dish covered with bluish green glaze.
Dish is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 30 cm diameter.

Chinese porcelain figure of a seated Daoist monk. The monk's skin is left unglazed, his draping robes and seat with Sancai "three colors" of yellow, green, and dark purple underglazes. One of the figure's ears is pierced through for gas to escape during kiln firing.
