The porcelain plate is marked in underglaze blue with the crossed torches of Locre which was known to have exported undecorated porcelain to England. Once in England, very often London, it was decorated with overglaze enamels and gilding. The Locre factory closed in 1820. The decoration is reminiscent of 18th century Worcester. Though it may have been part of a set of plates it may also have been painted to replace a broken plate in an 18th century set...

A very fine and rare Bow porcelain chocolate cup with the "Golfer and Caddy" pattern. The cup of tall "U" Shape with a strap handle. The interior with a wavy border, the handle with a flowering plant, and the base with a "2" workman's mark.

The overall condition is excellent, with only an invisibly done museum quality repair to a small interior rim flake. This wonderful example looks much better in person than the photos show. Cup height is 2 7/8" with a 2 3/4" diameter.

This set of 12 porcelain plates was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges around 1900. The plates measure 11 inches in diameter. They are decorated with opulent raised and beaded gilding. There are tiny pink roses around the center of each plate. The elaborate gilding over the cobalt blue is very dramatic. They will set an elegant table. Condition: Excellent

They were produced especially for the high end retailer Davis, Collamore & Co. of New York. The saucers have a diameter of 5 ½ inches. The cups are 2 ¼ inches high, the opening diameter is 3 2/4 inches and they are 5 ½ inches from handle to handle. These 3 plates were produced in France at a Paris Porcelain manufacturer in the early to mid 19th century. They are unmarked. The plates measure 8 5/8 inches in diameter. The plates have stilt markings on the back, evidence of their early production. Each plate is expertly hand painted realistically with bunches of flowers. The pansies are vivid and perky looking. The center has 3 cherubs, painted in puce. There are 3 reserves around the border containing sprays of flowers. The reticulation is outlined in gold and there are gilded accents. This porcelain ewer was produced in England by Royal Worcerster in 1885. The date letter in the marking indicates this year. It is model number 1048. The artist who painted this vase was Charles Baldwyn who worked at Worcester from 1880 to 1904. The ewer measures 7 ¼ inches high and has a diameter of 6 ¾ inches. Rare 19th C Hamilton & Dresinger, Philadelphia, PA, American brilliant cut glass jar with hinged sterling sliver hand chased repousse lid. Beautifully monogrammed, this may have been used as a dresser box. Lid weight is substantial and seals securely when closed. In excellent condition, it measures $ inches high, 2.5" diameter.

A very appealing 19th century Chinese cloisonne reclining dog decorated in green, red, white, yellow, and blue against a turquoise ground. A large repousse decorated sterling presentation trophy goblet - London, 1866, by Henry Holland and Company. Size: 9 7/8 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ozs. The inscription reads: Presented by the Trustees of the Pontypool Park Estate for Competition by No. 1 (or Pontypool) Company of the 2nd Monmouth Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1866. The winner's name is etched into a cartouche on the reverse side - Sgt. Robert W. Wallace, 2nd Monmouths. Excellent condition.

A porcelain ovoid form teapot with a floral knop and hand painted with floral sprays on either side and floral sprigs on above and below the handle, picked out with magenta, and on the spout as well as above and below. The crossed hayforks with a line through them was the factory mark for the late 198th century. Height 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), length across spout and handle 7 ¼ inches (18.4 cm) and width 4 ½ inches (11.4 cm).
