Superb Georgian sterling silver swing-handle basket. The bottom of the basket is formed of a silver sheet stamped and pierced in an intricate grapevine motif. The sides, constructed of interwoven silver wire, rise from the base and are decorated with grape cluster appliqués. The rim suggests grape vines, as well. The swing handle is decorated at the top with another cluster of grapes and foliage. The whole is raised on acanthus leaf feet...

A fantastic set of hand painted fish plates, each plate having its own distinctive scene, made in Limoges, France. The plates date circa 1900. Each plate is gold enameled at the rim. This is a really nice depression glass green Bowknot 4 1/4 inch diameter berry or fruit bowl made by the Belmont Tumbler Company in the 1920s. This berry bowl can be hard to find. Painted cast iron horsehead nameplate by Hubley, intended for use on a stable door, probably at a racetrack or horse farm. Two screws are meant to hold an engraved nameplate to the horseshoe. This would make a great name plate on the front door of a home.

These 4 porcelain soup cups and saucers were produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. The saucers measure 5 1/8 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups are quatrefoil, blown out and puffy in shape. The ground color is known as “blush”, shading from lighter to darker beige. They are decorated with transfer designs that are hand painted and have enameled accents...

A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.
