A very nice Victorian inkwell in peacock blue glass. The front side is engraved with an ornate floral pattern. The lid has lapidary cutting around the edges and is engraved with the image of a dove in mid-flight and carrying a letter in its beak. Certainly, the suggestion is of a lovebird delivering a sentimental note! The lid is mounted with a brass hinge.

Well, this was recently acquired from the estate of a 100 year old resident. The nickel plated shaver is in very nice condition, complete with a blade and box that is lined in a purple velvet type material. The interior is labeled “ANTICOR – The Saftey Corn Shaver” and the directions are printed on the label noted on the bottom of the box.

The box measures 4 inches long and is in good condition.

This is a lovely ivory rabbit walking stick. He has brown glass eyes and a gold plate collar. Very nice carving detail on his face with the fur and whiskers. He also wears a carved bow tie at the base of his neck. This stick measures 36" x 4.5" x 1". The handle/head measures 1.75" x 4.5" x 1". The collar measures .75" and the ferrule 1".

Offered is a handsome, circa 1905-1910 era Spalding hickory shaft golf club. Features of this club include the following: (1) a manufacturers stamp on the shaft - "A.G. Offered is an early 1900s, very striking, low profile, hickory shaft era, golf club, stamped "JIGGER" on the sole. A jigger in golf is a club in between a mashie and a mid iron essentially one with a low loft.

Measuring 2.75 inches in diameter by 3 inches high, this darling, circa 1890's, English, porcelain, double quill holder features a startled mother dove attempting to fend off a serpent about to devour the three eggs in her nest!

Likely Staffordshire, the quill holder features lovely polychrome coloration. Condition is wonderful with no chips, breaks, repairs, or repaints. Age crackling to glaze is evident along with a tiny stain on the dove's breast.

A very rare cast iron fireplace tool set with caddy includes tongs, poker, and shovel. The caddy in enameled in black over a white primer, a clue to help dating of the set. The caddy is formed of rectilinear lines with a bird with large plumes in the center. Each of the tools has a ring for either grabbing or hanging. This is a wonderful clock made of bronze and rouge marble depicting a lion pulling a cherub in a chariot over the tomb of Napoleon. It measures 17" long x 17" tall x 6" deep. The only marks I could find on it, which are shown in the photos, are numbers and an award that it won in France. It works beautifully and is in excellent condition.
