Mixed metals(rose and white 14k gold) period retro earrings, c.1948. Wonderfully designed, each rose gold screwback earring is punctuated with 12 white gold dots adding dimension and color. Early LOS CASTILLO("#1" design) modernist mixed metal and obsidian bracelet, Mexico, c.1940. Beautifully constructed, there are two curved brass arms that connect to a circular piece of obsidian that turns freely. The brass arms are attached to the sterling locking ends. The obsidian stands 1 1/8" high and forms a very unusual and majestic modernist design. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" around. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO HECHO EN MEXICO 1 (eagle mark)15" and is in excellent condition...

A vintage pair of sterling silver Mid Century Modernist pierced earrings by Betty Cooke.

Each earring has three polished silver disks connected to a silver tube. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

Measure about 2" long and 3/4" across.

Signed Cooke and sterling on the back of each earring. The clutches are not marked.

Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. One earring has a tiny ding to the tube in the middle...

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by Hans Hansen, designed by the Georg Jensen designer, Per Harild and crafted by the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Denmark.

Measures about a size 6.5-7. Somewhat adjustable due to the open nature of the design. Marked with the conjoined HaH for Hans Hansen, post 1945 mark for Georg Jensen, Denmark and 925S.

In fine condition. Minor scratches and nicks along the edges and a little tarnish. Thick sterling.

Very nice pair of early toggle-back 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each set with an old European cut diamond. The edges of the faces have a foliate design surrounded a textured center featuring a ribbed collet-set diamond. The stones are very nice quality with excellent clarity and bright color. The backs marked 14K.

An unusual Taxco Mexican sterling silver pendant and chain, with a central Pre Columbian carved green frog by the noted female jeweler, Bernice Goodspeed.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" across. The very detailed chain measures about 15 1/2" long. Hook closure. Marked on the back Sterling Taxco around the stylized 'B' for the artisan. Also marked with what looks like Eagle #28.

Very intricate work. Deep green color. Fine quality.

A vintage mid century modernist pair of screw back earrings in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. Described as having four curved sterling lines ending in a swirl of exotic wood.

They each measure 1 3/8" long and 1" at the widest.

Marked with the impressed Spratling Silver in an oval on the back of each earring. This marks was used between 1933-40, the first design period.

They are in fine condition with some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...

Hand hammered copper pin of a deco abstract nude reclining lady made by Rebajes, c.1940s. The pin is in excellent and very clean condition with its original patina. The pin measures 2 3/8" x 1 3/4".

A vintage sterling silver double bangle bracelet by Rey Urban for Å Fausing, Denmark. Two curved bangles that meet at opposite sides.

Measures 2 5/8" across the inside and 7/8" at the widest. Also measures about 8 1/4" around the inner circumference. Slips on my average sized wrist easily.

Marked with Å Fausing, 925, Sterling, Denmark, script Rey Urban signature and 7 for the design number.

A wonderfully crafted hand wrought sterling silver pendant and chain with a central bezel set coral colored swirled agate by NYC lapidarist and jeweler, Felice Raabe Isreeli, (1915-2001).

Pendant measures 2 1/2" long including the bale and 1 1/2" across. The chain measures 20" long. Hook closure holds securely. Both pieces are marked Sterling and FELICE.

The necklace is in fine condition with a warm patina. Very intricate design.

"Prize winning piece which is made of four different metals and two stones" describes this Los Castillo pin in MEXICAN JEWELRY by Davis & Pack, p.188. It also appears on p.187 in WILLIAM SPRATLING and the MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE as "Los Castillo, prize-winning cubist parrot broach". This famous pin was made in Mexico, c.1947. The metals are sterling, brass, copper, and, perhaps pewter. The stones used are black onyx and malachite in matrix...

Arts & crafts period handmade and very large Scandinavian 830 silver with 4 luminous labradorites stones pendant, c.1905. It is signed "830 S (floral or bug mark) #493", and each of the first 3 marks are in lozenges. Made of heavy gauge lightly gold-washed silver and large scale, it measures 3 5/8" long by 2 1/4" wide.
