Margot Van Voorhies was definitely the Queen of the Mexican Silver Renaissance. After her divorce from Antonio Castillo she began her Taller Margot De Taxco and created the most wondrous of jewels. This repousse necklace shows her finesse with movement. The reverse repousse gives great dimension plus the drop will detach then becoming a brooch. A stunning cast sterling necklace with four amethyst arrowhead shaped carved stones. Measuring 16 1/2" (42 cm) long, the central sterling pieces are 1 1/2" (4.1 cm) x 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) and the two side pieces are 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) in each direction. The amethyst pieces measure 1 3/8" (3.9 cm) X 5/8" (2 cm), including the sterling caps. Beckmann sold in San Miguel de Allende from the late 1950's through the 1970's. This necklace has a classic form and, in certain light, looks to be plated in two colors of gold. The beautiful surface condition is a result of a rolled gold-plating process used by the Newark, NJ, firm of Krementz & Company. The exotic design is reminiscent of ethnic jewelry, composed of graduated pointed vertical drops alternating with ovular beads. A braided chain with spike and drum closure completes the retro design. These unmarked Mexican earrings feature lacy wirework on a half-moon-shaped frame. They test strongly for silver and sit perpendicular to the ear. They date from the 1950s and are secured by kidney wires with hooks. They measure 1 3/8 inches long by ¾ inch wide. Weight: 7 grams total

Hattie Carnegie's green pendant necklace and dangle earrings is a dazzling show stopper. The rich green colors of the prong set rhinestones are enhanced by the crisp sparkle of the clear prong set rhinestones. Note the unusual shape of the dangle clip earrings. We are offering an Antonio Pineda bracelet with pearl and amethyst set inside the tulip shaped links. The amethyst used are a very translucent, fine quality cabachon and what you see inside the stone is being picked up around it in reflection. The length is 7in. wearable and it is one inch tall. Properly hallmarked as shown with a weight of 102 grams heavy. This is such a beautiful piece and one that is seldom seen. No damage of any kind.

Vintage pearl and sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet measures 6 1/4" long X 5/8" wide. Hallmarked with Antonio crown, Taxco, 970 and eagle. The design features 11 pearls each set within a round oxidized silver cup. Each cup framed by a thick silver square. Secure, tight slide-in clasp with attached safety chain. Bracelet is in beautiful condition with no damage or repairs.

This wonderful, little pin / brooch depicts a map of The Province. It reads NOVA SCOTIA in sterling silver, including the Nova Scotia Peninsula, (Nova Scotia, Canada), its bays and other bodies of water. Very unusual and fine 14 K yellow gold crab brooch with a large natural turquoise cabochon and natural ruby eyes. In mint condition, it dates circa 1950's and measures 2.25 inches wide by 1.5". Excellent detailing.

The Reja enamel goose brooch is 2 3/4" x 2 5/8".

The head is encrusted with tiny seed pearls and a red eye. Great detail. Well loved by it's former owner. There is very slight imperfections in the enamel on the lower body to the left of the front wing and few tiny spots on the wings. Overall great condition for its age.
