Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.

This stunning bracelet is composed of an applied cast floral layer on a plain, hinged bangle bracelet, with a secure tongue-and-groove clasp and security chain. The tongue bears French import marks that guarantee a silver content of at least .800, and probably dates anywhere from the 1930s to the 1950s. This nifty, solid charm is 3D and stands 7/8" tall. The diameter of the bottom is 3/8". It has a great likeness to the decorative bottle of the smooth, dry, red wine. It is marked (what looks like) J2 AR and 800.

A nice pair of mid-century 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with blue sapphire cabochons. The rectangular faces are engraved in a sunburst pattern, with one end rolled over. A round cabochon sapphire is set in to each end of the opening created by the rolled edge. The stones have fine slightly violet-blue color and good clarity. The backs have toggle closures. The cufflinks are not signed, but are almost certainly by either Larter or Krementz. Marked "14K".

This unsigned Hattie Carnegie "Elephant in the grass" brooch is spectacular. It has lots of attention to detail. This elephant is done with a black resin body, gold tone metal trunk and tusk, sparkling clear rhinestone marquises and crystals, green emerald grass stems. Here is a stunning example of California maker Francisco Rebajes’ jewelry designs. The necklace is constructed of stylized leaves linked by folding the top of one over the next, to produce a sinuous movement. The silver-plated finish is brushed to soften the patina, and shows some tarnish. The tongue-and-groove clasp is in good working order, and bears the Rebajes mark. The necklace measures just under 16 inches long by 3/4 inch wide.
